The Summer Camp folks have asked us to return to defend our title at the On the Road Tour stop at High Noon Saloon in Madison! You know the deal: if we win, we get a spot at Summer Camp Music Festival 2016!!! We have had amazing experiences playing SCamp in the past, and we need YOUR HELP to do it again! 1st Event of 2016: Oblivion - Columbus, IN
Something that has been toying with the New Sanctuary for a long time finally gets down to brass tacks. Big changes occur in the world, new horrors appear, bad stuff happens to good people, and the smart folks will bring their own in-game light sources. This is a full weekend long immersive LARP experience. The price is $60 for players who will need to bring sleeping bags, toiletries, extra socks, costumes, weapons, spell packets, and extra badass to withstand a weekend of imagination and adventure. Meals in the tavern are an additional cost, but hearty and well worth it. NPCs pay $15, and don't need to bring costuming. Their admission fee covers their meals as well. NPCs need to bring dark clothes they can move in, sturdy shoes, extra socks, sleeping bag, and toiletries. We ask that people try to get to the site by 8 so that they can have time to get into costume and go through registration before lay on at 10. We will be able to arrive on site as early as 3 PM. Explore! Youth Ceramics Camp - Detroit, MI
Moms, Dads and Grandparents! Are you looking for an exciting and educational experience for your child during the summer months? Our summer camps are designed with age-appropriate projects to accommodate children age 6-12. Your child will explore several classic children's books through basic clay hand building techniques and mixed media arts projects. Students will create uniquely fired ceramic pieces and other crafts that explore classic and contemporary children's stories. Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Fishing for Families - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Join us for a great day of aquatic adventures at the Ned Smith Center! Families are invited to share the joy of fishing with your up-and-coming anglers, while learning about the complex environment of the Wiconisco Creek. Ample time will be dedicated to casting instruction and practice, as well as fishing along the creek. Equipment is provided. All participants must wear closed-toe, hard soled shoes that can get wet. Each child will receive a spin cast reel and rod at the conclusion of the day. Thanks to our program partners Bass Pro Shops, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited, we are able to offer this camp at a reduced fee. Boys Missions Camp - Camper - Judson Baptist Retreat Center
A perfect opportunity for boys completing 1-6th grades to have a great time, learn Gods Word, and be impacted by Godly men. The boys will be taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spend their days swimming, doing archery, shooting BB guns, horseback riding and lots of recreation! Percussion - Band Camp 2016 - Natick High School
This week-long, intensive band experience is designed for middle school students who are entering grades 6-8 and have AT LEAST ONE YEAR of band experience. Led by Natick middle school band directors Scott Morrill and Dave Drapeau, sessions will be a blend of full band work and breakouts by instrument. Students will focus on skills and musicianship and work towards performing several songs as a full band by the end of the week.
