LUNCH: Students must bring their own bag lunches and drinks each day. No class July 4. This course is for students wishing to enrich their math skills before entering 9th grade. Students focus on the standard topics of first-year algebra, emphasizing the fundamental ideas of the subject. Topics may include solving and graphing linear equations and functions, quadratic equations and functions, solving and graphing inequalities, systems of equations, factoring expressions, absolute value and exponential and radical expressions and equations. Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.

Snowed In Youth Retreat - Annville, KY
Hey there campers! We will be having a retreat out at camp for 6TH-12TH GRADE! Arrival time is at 6:30. We will be doing dinner that evening and then have a lot of games and activities planned. Brunch will be served the next morning. Check out time will be by 11:00am on Saturday. The cost is $10 per person. If your youth group plans to attend please have your Youth Leader get a hold of me. Skyhawks Volleyball (Aug 15 - Aug 19) - Heatherwood Middle School
All aspects of volleyball are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting, and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Our staff will assist campers in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, water bottle, and sunscreen. Session II Individual Skills Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

AIDE (Girls entering Grades 8-10 who have completed the AIT program) - Huddart Park
Girls entering grades 8 through 10 in Fall 2016 serve as assistant staff at Day Camp, working with Unit Leaders to supervise campers. Any applicant who has not completed the Diamond Crest AIT Training will be placed in the AIT unit to complete training. Please note, girls must attend camp all days to complete the AIT program. Girls who were AITs last year but did not attend all days of camp must register as an AIT again this year. Girls entering 10th grade who have been an Aide for 2 years may also request to be a Leader in Training (LIT) and work in a unit with two adult leaders if they have completed AIT training and have been an Aide for two years. Aides and AITS may camp overnight twice during camp. July 26 is the Aides-in-Training initiation ceremony and July 27 is the all-camp overnight for girls entering grade 4 or higher. Training for Aides will be held at Huddart Park from 1:00-4:00 pm on Friday, July 15. Mark your calendar now! (Its sign-up and t-shirt day!) Summit Football July 25-29 - Summit School
Summit Football July 25-29 Rising 3rd, 4th & 5th 9am-2pm Campers will learn fundamentals to be successful in football. The morning will focus on drills to improve throwing, catching, running, kicking, punting, as well as offensive and defensive positions. The afternoon will be filled with flag football games to put all of the fundamentals together. Campers would be encouraged to bring sneakers, cleats, shorts, hats, water bottles and a t-shirt. Mr. Mihalko was part of two high school championships and one national championship at the University of Notre Dame under Lou Holtz. The winning is not the focus of this camp. Forts and Tunnels - FULL (see Forts and Tunnels II Week 4) - Old Trail School
Campers will have fun in the woods turning branches into forts meant for spies or explorers! They will create tunnels or secret hideouts using easy-to-find materials, a few tools and lots of imagination. It will be a week of open-ended play that emphasizes unstructured creative exploration with diverse natural materials.
