Costa Rica Teen Expedition Camp Information Meeting - Torrance, CA
The Torrance-South Bay Y and Unearthed Travel are hosting a life-changing journey to Costa Rica for teens ages 14-17 next summer, July 2017! Students will travel as a team and will participate in: hands-on community or conservation project, challenging and breathtaking trek through the rainforest or up the tops of volcanoes, and exploration of the amazing sites and action packed activities of Costa Rica. Kid's Music Camp: Oh, Jonah! - Hampton, VA
Oh Jonah!: Music Camp 2016 Monday – Friday, August 8-14, 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Oh, Jonah Practice & Activities 12 – 12:30 p.m. Lunch Bunch 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Field Trip Camp Cost: $20 (includes CD, t-shirt, snacks). Field Trip Cost: Extra cost per activity Register here: http://www.123contactform.com/form-2044925/HBC-Music-Camp-2016 The children will be learning a musical about the life and times of Jonah. Rachel will direct the music and Betty (Elizabeth) will direct the enrichment activities. We have need of a snack coordinator and set designer in addition to youth counselors. This year, we would like to extend our day to 3:00 p.m. to include afternoon activities such as service, swimming, bowling, skating, etc. In order to add the component, we need willing adults to chaperone the afternoon outings. If you are interested in having some fun with some cool kids or if you have service project ideas you can help facilitate, then please contact Rachel.

This camp focuses on developing friendships and working as a team. Campers will gain an understanding of the importance of self-esteem and respect.
