My Grown Up and Me classes offer age appropriate activities that help infants develop brain capacity, skills and abilities with the use of developmental toys and didactic activities. In addition, there is an emphasis on building gross and fine motor skills. Classes are based on child development expert and author Edith Peisachs Baby Stars Methodology. This proven methodology enables your child to become more alert, lengthens their attention span, and enriches their vocabulary. Time: Classes meet once a week for 60 minutes on Fridays from week of April 12th through week of May 27th. What to Avoid Packing for Summer Camp?
Summer camp is a great chance for kids to stay active and meet new friends. Thus, children are usually asked to leave values at home, including electronics. Camp life includes a lot of activity and it would be easy for iPods, gaming consoles, and other items to be lost or damaged. Instead of staying plugged in, camp is a wonderful time for kids to detox from such items. Of course, if a child is going to a technology program, a laptop might be acceptable.
To keep everyone safe, fireworks, weapons, and illegal drugs and other items need to stay home....

Session II Individual Skills Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226
Half - Day Camp (July) - NSU Turf and Grass Fields and Indoor Bubble
Coach Rob Czlonka and Coach Chase Wooten Camps are designed to provide training for youth players with aims at developing the techniques needed to be successful in the game of soccer. Each session will include the Following: Dribbling, Controlling surfaces, 1v1 exercises, passing and receiving, and some small group games. Players will receive a NSU Soccer T-shirt. Campers need to bring with them (1) indoor and outdoor athletic shoes, (2) a full water bottle/Jug (3) shin guards with socks over them. 918-444-3997
STEM & Academic Summer Camp Half Day - 8 weeks - DeKalb County Location
1/2 Day Ac ademic Summer Camp will engage in Academics and STEM Activities. This camp is loved by parents that work from home, educators and students looking to drop in and out on various weeks. Please note: This is a special session, combining our favorite parts of Camp Spider Monkey and SPLASH Camp. It is also a shorter week due to the July 4th holiday (Tues.-Fri.). The optional overnight is on Thursday for this week. Swimming, climbing, and canoeing come together as we study the beautiful Colorado landscape 970-455-4228
Drawing and Painting - Junior Center of Art & Science
This class will give students an opportunity to engage in art making through the use of markers, pens, pencil, paint, and watercolor. Different techniques and methods of drawing and painting will be explored. 510-839-5777
