I sent my son to Camp Sequoia this past summer because I had heard that it was an excellent camp for boys that struggle with ADHD. I also wanted to be close to the camp, and because we live in Philly, it was just an hour away. Summer Junior Golf Camps - The Landings at Spirit Golf Course
The Landings at Spirit Golf Club has offered junior golf instruction for the past 16 years and PGA Director of Instruction Don Gorin has been instructing juniors for over 22 years. The facility will continue to provide trained and experienced instructors to help promote a lifetime sport. Our camps consist of range instruction on the full swing, short game, and on-course playing, while learning course etiquette and the rules of the game. Each camp session will have a maximum of 8 students per class and a minimum of 4. This will ensure plenty of individual instruction. We want each of our campers to experience a fun and enjoyable time while learning the proper way to play the game of golf. 314-954-7407

Boys do write! This camp gives boys time to write and something to write about. During the week well visit a historic site, hike along a creek, play kickball, have races on a real race course and other exciting adventures, followed by crafting stories about our experiences. This morning program features two-week sessions of old-fashioned summer camp fun. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, water play, splash club at a local pool and one beach visit each session. Campers participate in camp-wide meetings and Fun Friday Barbecue lunches. LUNCH: Parker Summers campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks Monday–Thursday. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. If ready, campers than move to advanced building and programming projects that include: a Racecar, Ferris wheel, and Carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers can utilize the skills they have learned to build and program their own creations. In the Science Readiness Camp, students strengthen their laboratory, basic mathematics and study skills. They learn how to make quantitative and qualitative observations while using the scientific method to explore real-world phenomena.
