Being Jewish on Campus - West Hartford, CT
Being Jewish on campus can be confusing. Many colleges offer a range of ways to enhance your Jewish experience - but college can also challenge some deeply held beliefs, especially with regard to Israel and international politics. This program brings 11th and 12th graders and their parents together with the experts in the field for a deeper conversation about what it means to be Jewish on campus. Youth Leadership Summit 2.0
Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

Make different projects each day with a new instructor and changing art materials. JUMP START SPORTS- LACROSSE CAMP (FULL-DAY) - Ben Robertson Community Center
Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Session 2 - 2016 Kids Create - Rehearsal Hall
Kids Create! Session I: August 1 – 5, 2016 Session II: August 8 – 12, 2016 Ages 5 to 12 | commuter only | online application deadline: July 1, 2016 Fill your childs summer days with music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Children develop their imaginations and skills through drawing, painting, collage, movement, music, improvisational theater, creative dramatics, and playwriting. Classes are taught by professional musicians and artists from Rutgers Universitys Mason Gross School of the Arts. Each weeks offerings are unique, so children may participate in one or both weeks. Camp weeks end with showcases, giving students the opportunity to perform for their families. No prior experience needed. Snow White (Theatre in the Park) - True Hope Community Church
A two-week session where campers learn playmaking! Make sets, costumes and props and put on a performance the final day of camp in a local park. In this sessions play, "Snow White," Snow White must escape the clutches of the wicked queen, and finds some help along the way.
