09th 2016 Camp Buckaroo FALL BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Fall Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cool or cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day. Students learn how to act for the camera by one of our experienced directors who has worked for Disney and Nickelodeon studios, receive a starring role in their own short movie, then walk the red carpet at our annual movie premiere on September 13th. Camp Grow weaves nature, activities, and games into the beauty of a public garden. Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Campers bring their own snack/lunches/beverages each day. The Youth Elite camp is designed for the advanced player who wants to continue to improve their skill to take them to the next level. The High School Elite camp is designed for the high school player who has aspirations to play college soccer. Players will have training sessions as well as play in small-sided and full-sided games while being evaluated by the University of Maryland Mens Soccer Staff. Several coaches from various colleges and universities will also be present.
