Advanced Video production provides a unique opportunity for students to develop their multimedia production skills. Students spend time screenwriting, story boarding, producing, lighting, and editing. By the end of the week, students create an entire production which is broadcasted on cable Channel 15. Photography Kids - Teen Day Camp - Bandy, VA
Photography kids - teen day camp. age 7 and up May 7 2016.The cost is $60.00 they get a cute bag and tee shirt, and lunch that day. They need a camera any kind it dont matter just as long as it takes photos. they get a small photo session that day also. We will be hiking and taking photos enjoying the day. The minni session you will receave up to 5 differnt poses with a cd to print them from and copyright. ( take a week to get the cd back) The Cost is $60.00 cash based or credit card with pay pal. Money has to be paid by April 16th 2016 if it rains we will rescheduel and if you cant make the rescheduel date we can do a photo session with the child that is signed up at a lator day. if you can not come for some reason their is no refunds you will receave the tee shirt and bag. you are responable for dropping kids off and pick up is no later than 2pm. Summer Track Club (5-10): 9:00-11:00 - The Hockaday School
Speed: Runners, on your mark… Go! Sprint your way into new running technique that will improve speed. Join the Track Club to learn speed drills and footwork fundamentals with track equipment. This camp will teach kids to enjoy competition. Our campers will participate in games and kid-friendly contests of some of the drills. Distance: Pace yourself from start to finish. Children will remain lifelong runners with the right shoes and the right distance. Running longer and farther is one of the best ways to keep our campers active. Come form happy hearts and lungs with us by building endurance, stamina, and strength. Jumping: Blast off to test your flying skills! Get off the ground with long jumps, high jumps, triple long jump, and much more. Learn simple techniques that will make a huge difference in jumping performance from the runway into the sand pit. Throwing: You have the power! Test your Strength. Throwing is a fun way to improve upper and lower body strength. Struggling with basic math computation? This class is designed to help close the gap to success with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using manipulatives to strengthen concepts. This camp is appropriate for students with remedial skills. Two separate classes are offered: 1st - 3rd Grade & 4th-6th Grade *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm.
