(Ages 5-11) Each summer, The Towne Players of Garner partner with the Town of Garner to provide a four-week summer theater camp. Children will learn theater basics, which they apply to the summer show, Seussical The Musical, Jr The children join with the teens during the final week of the camp to rehearse their featured numbers in the show. This Boy Scout Ranch Camp was established in 1983. My 14 year old son would not miss signing up for this summer camp. Nestled in over 200 miles of rugged country it is the perfect place to camp and explore nature. Our son liked the diverse topography of the land. Award-winning writer and Colorado Mesa University instructor Rhonda Claridge will work with students on creating composite characters, developing fiction out of what they know, and elucidating the essence of their narratives.
