They call is the 'Birchmont Experience' on their website. I call it the Birchmont Fun Fest because that's just what our two kids went through. Although they are only a year apart you would think they grew up in separate cities. What amazed me is how close they became. That was worth the price of admission! As a way to fundraise for our annual Ignited Youth Camp, CTF's youth group, Ignited, hosts an annual talent show where youth showcase their talents through song and dance, comedy, magic tricks, baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee, and so much more. Kid's in the Kitchen Camp - Mays Landing, NJ
Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more.
