The WCU Field Hockey Elite Level & GK Specialty Camp offers a unique op-portunity for the serious field hockey athlete. The camp has been designed to challenge athletes in settings different from the traditional camp situations. The camps will offer tactics and techniques in goal scoring, defensive strategy, and goal-keeping technique. Each evening will conclude under the lights with game play. These offerings will appeal to the serious field hockey athlete! EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, sunscreen, and a container of water (no glass). Goal-keepers must bring their own equipment. WCU and its camp staff are not re-sponsible for lost or missing items. All personal equip-ment should be marked with the campers name. 610-436-3555

Challenge yourself and build self-confidence with a focus on safety, skateboarding fundamentals, conditioning and technique. Each day is structured as skateboarding lessons, education, snack time, game time and play time. Helmets are required and safety pads are strongly recommended. Get ready to learn all about the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse has elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Once you try lacrosse, youll love it! All equipment will be provided in this highly instructional program. Campers will receive training on all fundamentals, including passing and catching; fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning, and defense. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be used which eliminates the need for helmets and shoulder pads. No checking, stick checking, or poking will be permitted! Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Multi-Camp Discount: Register for two or more full-day Jump Start Sports Camps and receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent camp. Supplies: Campers should bring a packed lunch with a beverage, snacks and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. This session is for young campers age 7 who love puppies and dogs, or young campers who need to overcome a fear of dogs. Campers will be introduced to basic responsibilities of pet ownership and the needs of a canine companion by working with rescue puppies and dogs. Campers will engage in play and structured games involving puppies and dogs that teach dog handling skills, dog safety, and promote having fun with a dog. This session will also include animal-themed family movies, animal-themed arts and craft projects, and homemade dog treats prepared by campers.
