Winter Kids' Camp - Houston, TX
Children thrive engaging in hands-on learning experiences that encourage courageous and creative thinking. These combination cooking, baking, and art camps provide perfect activities to build a child’s confidence and expression, as well as learning life-long personal skills. Classes are conducted by a certified K-12 Visual Arts teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience as well as an assistant instructor. ++275 USD per 4-day camp ++Age group 7-14 years old ++*Exceptions to age range will be considered ++25 USD discount when enrolling a sibling in the same session (call us!) ++Group size limited to 10 to ensure individual instruction and attention ++Each day camp runs from 12:00PM – 2:00PM White Plate Art will provide aprons for each camper to wear and all supplies needed. Each camper will receive all recipes prepared, a certificate of completion, and a personalized apron on the last day of camp.

Kid's Do Strollfit - Norman, OK
Join us after class for our special, annual Kid's Do Strollfit Class. All kids are welcome to bring a push toy (stroller, lawn mower, grocery cart, etc.). They can put a doll or stuffed animal in it to ride around. After class, the kids will do their own verson of Baby Boot Camp - Norman. It is sooooo cute. They learn so much by watching us, why not let them show off? Older Kids (usually age 3ish...), here is the list of exercises you can teach. Moms, please work with your child and help them show the exercise to the group and then do 5 reps. Sebastian: High Knees Whitely: Burpees Lanie: squats Cooper: push ups Who else wants to teach??? Just let me know and I will add them and their exercise. Also!! There is a prize for the best decorated push toy!!

Winter Break Kid's Horse Camp! - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our Winter Break Kid's Horseback Riding Camp! For children ages 3 -18, no riding experience necessary. Kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen. What better way to finish off the winter break than by being outside with friends and siblings, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, natural horseman clinician with 35+ years experience as a professional trainer of horses and their people, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equipment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Camp is half-days, 9 AM - 12 noon. Science for Preschoolers - Lucie Stern Community Center (LSCC)
This special two-week camp provides preschoolers with a fun introduction to zoology, botany, physics and chemistry. Activities are the same each session during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend the first few classes. Children must be toilet-trained and able to use the bathroom independently to attend. Participants in this camp MAY NOT sign up for Science for Kinders. Join us for fun, engaging topics that explore economic and mathematics concepts to understand the world of finance and beyond. Investigate concepts such as supply, demand, scarcity and opportunity cost. Students will learn through interactive games and test their trading acumen by playing simulated rounds on the U.S. stock market using real stocks (but fake money!). Old Davie School - Session 2 Only (July 18, 2016-August 12, 2016) Advanced levels of study in voice and diction, character analysis, scene study, dialects, styles and methods. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. Performance: Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. This camp is designed for campers who are: Ages 13 to 18 who are at a moderate level of experience. This camp is offered at Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Old Davie School only.
