Titus Ladies and Teen Girls Retreat - Lowville, NY
Margy Harryman, who will be speaking to mothers and wives, and Molly Sparling, who will be speaking with teen girls ages 13-18, will be sharing a shortened version of their Titus Bible Studies based on Titus 2:3-5. Ladies and girls will be meeting separately, but we will all enjoy our meals and breaks together. Retreat will cover one night lodging, Saturday breakfast and lunch and speakers expenses. As a way to fundraise for our annual Ignited Youth Camp, CTF's youth group, Ignited, hosts an annual talent show where youth showcase their talents through song and dance, comedy, magic tricks, baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee, and so much more. Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 4-10 *pick up and drop off will be on 11th St and Manhattan Ave, near Beckers. This program integrates LEGO® with scientific and mathematical principles in a FUN and EXCITING way! Teaching is conducted using customized LEGO® kits with motors, gears and batteries. The programs utilize an Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) approach, transforming the learning process into a game while introducing children to theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Each participant will discover new subjects and will build/play with (2) different models each day. Teaching is conducted using customized LEGO kits with motors, gears and batteries. Little Red Spying Hood Production Fee Payment - Seacoast Repertory Theatre
Little Red Spying Hood is a PAPA Youth Workshop Production and is an audition-based program. There is a production fee of $95 per student to participate in the production. Students rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm and some Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm. Summer Strength and Speed Training Girls - 9th-12th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Black All classes will be taught in the state of the art Lattner Center located on the west side of the Upper School. Some sessions will take place on the turf or track at Spartan Stadium located just to the east of the Beren Middle School. The summer staff of Troy Black, Mike Gehrer, Destiny Clark, Cam Clark, and other staff as needed have many years of proven experience and knowledge. The curriculum and techniques like the training center are state of the art and are presented in a positive uplifting environment. Each session has a curriculum molded to the skill sets and abilities of the students. Strength and Speed - For the 6th year, we will be offering a class that is designed for the female athlete. Female athletes need to work on their strength and speed just like the males. The focus of the program will be on developing overall body strength, learning proper lifting technique, improved jumping ability, agility, speed improvement, and core strength. A variety of exercises and drills will be used over the 8-week program. The participants age, experience, and limitations will be used when designing the participants workouts.
