Get your kids active for the summer with Two Trails Outdoor Camp! Our participants will engage in a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, nature, sports, games and more. Camp will swim two to three times a week and take one to two no n-swimming field trip a week as well. This camp is for school-age children 5-12 years of age; please note 5 years olds must have completed kindergarten. Session 3: June 13 - August 8 4:00pm-6:00pm - Bing Maloney
The Saturday Practice & Play Program is an on the course class. This class is 9 weeks. It is designed to gain course management skills and a great way to get out and play every week. Participants must be able to play 9 holes independently and in timely fashion. 916-808-2283
Camp Chemistry Morning - Newtons Attic
Camp Chemistry can be taken as a full day class or half-day, either morning or afternoon. To register for the full day, please register for both half-days. Morning and afternoon experiments will not be repeated, so students will have new material in each session. Glowing water, blue and red flames, and mountains of oozing foam are everyday occurrences in Camp Chemistry at Newtons Attic. This camp will expose students to the fun and sometimes bizarre world of chemistry, chemical reactions and exciting things that can be made with the right mixture of knowledge, chemicals and materials. In addition to playing with (safe) chemicals, students will work in the shop to fabricate various items, such as test tube holders and similar gadgets that will aid in their exploration of the world of chemistry. Everyone gets to keep everything they make or do at Newtons Attic so that the fun and learning can continue long after camp is over. So, lets all put on our safety glasses, lab aprons and rubber gloves and see what strange potions we can concoct. 859-368-7334

An awesome aquatic adventure camp for children, ages 5 to 12 yrs and Level I graduates. Children will explore water through games, music, relays, crafts, and pick up some great safety tips. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Children must provide their own sack lunch. Camp shirt is included in the price. LOCATION Ceres High School - Pool at Ceres High School
Engineering - Build It! - Middle School
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Webb Institute in Glen Cove: a private engineering college that offers a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Students work individually or in teams to design and build a boat that serves a specific mission. Each team is given a list of materials and then must collaborate on the design and construction of their boat. Student volunteers from Webb will assist the teams in applying engineering and physics to enhance the design of their projects. The week culminates with a field trip to the Webb Institute, where students get to test their construction skills under various conditions, tour their amazing facility, and visit the Robinson Model Basin to put their designs to the test by completing numerous challenges.
