Summer / Adventure Camp Registration - Solon, OH
The Solon Recreation Department offers two day camps that run in conjunction with one another. The Summer Camp is for pre-kindergarten to fourth graders (child must be at least 5 years old and no older than 12 on their first day of camp). The Adventure Camp is for current fifth & sixth graders (child must be 12 years old or younger on their first day of camp). Camp consists of sports, swimming, activities, field trips and much, much more. The schedules and activities are age appropriately planned. Winter Prospect Camp - Oosterbaan Field House
This camp is a college identification camp. Field players and goalkeepers will work directly with the University of Michigan Mens Soccer staff to experience the daily training environment of the U-M Mens Soccer program. The camp will consist of on-field technical training, small-sided and large-sided games, as well as a lecture regarding the recruiting process. Creative Campers Summer Camp: Farm Animals - Douglas Park Building
Weekly Theme: Farm Animals Creative Campers is run by our experienced toddler class instructors. The program offers an excellent way for younger children to experience a day camp in a safe environment. Natural History - Week 2 - Natural History
Can you tell a bird from its call? Identify a mammal from its prints in the mud? Ever wonder where flying squirrels live? How to catch a snake or a bullfrog? Come join us as we adventure through creeks, marshes, forests, and the many natural places of beauty we have to explore on The Heights campus and all around the metropolitan area. The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds. Session II will focus on insects and trees. Staff Anton Vorozhko teaches 6th grade homeroom in the middle school.
