LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 2005 Mariners ($315 for 2 weeks, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Formerly Beginner Sailing. Please choose 2 weeks minimum. This class is taught in Rhodes 19s, Capri 14s, and Optimists. Mariners is designed to give the sailor a strong fundamental base of sailing skills such as rigging, tacking, gybing, sail trim, hiking, and some advanced boat handling. The overall goal is to make the sailor comfortable on the water in varying conditions, while eventually becoming proficient sailing alone in the Opti. Inside the Mariners class, we typically divide into three color groups: Forest Green (Novice), Lime Green (Intermediate Mariner), and Army Green(Advanced Mariner). As the child improves, they will advance through the groups until they are ready for Whalers. *Please note that the 2005 Mariner class is for those with a birthdate of 2005 or earlier. 508-228-1400

Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Shakespeare Summer Camp - Pensacola, FL
It's a mystery of Shakespearean proportions as this year’s campers create a whodunit from the ground up using Shakespearean characters, plots, intrigue, dialogue, and combat. Each camper will get to choose a Shakespearean character to play, agree on a Shakespearean murder victim, and help write and perform an original play using Shakespearean themes. Campers will learn about the plays, acting, and stage combat in this week-long experience that culminates in a live performance! SETSCO will provide everything except underwear, shoes, and lunch. Lacrosse Camp for Girls - Germantown Friends School
The GFS Lacrosse Camp offers the ideal way for players of all levels to improve their individual skills, have fun, and meet new friends. This camp is designed for players who want to work on fundamental skill-building with a major emphasis on stick work, scoring, positional play, and game concepts. Newcomers are welcome! Coach Katie Bergstrom Mark is a former Division I lacrosse player and current Head Lacrosse Coach and Athletic Director at GFS. More than 45 of her players have gone on to play collegiate lacrosse at different schools, including MIT, Smith, Penn, Bard, Stanford, Wesleyan, Vermont, Davidson, Bowdoin and more. Our coaching staff consists of current varsity players and collegiate athletes who demonstrate and share first-hand knowledge of the skills they developed during their summers at GFS Camps! Our primary goal is to build confidence and deepen players passion for sports! Swims at the Germantown Cricket Club add to the summertime fun! Playground games are physically and mentally challenging and support social and conflict resolution skills. These games are excellent in supporting healthy growth of endurance and dexterity. All week in the camp were playing games. Well be introducing new games as well as playing some of our old-time favorites.
