LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Spartan Quest-All Summer (9-3) - 1st-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Leddy Summertime fun begins at Spartan Quest, (formerly known as Sports Camp). This class will run for all 11 weeks of summer giving your camper a consistent, exciting summer day camp experience. We will spend the mornings doing fun things on campus like; playing games, flying kites, dodge ball, hide-n-seek, flag football, basketball, video games, etc…. We also will build our own fun when we build things like; bow and arrows from PVC pipe, marshmallow shooters, mini-golf-courses, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and anything else we can think of! In the afternoon we continue our fun off campus at places like; Tanganyika, ice skating, roller skating, Lazerquest, Watson Park, mini-golf, All-Star Adventures, Water Center, Bug Lady and many more too numerous to mention. New this summer we will be incorporating STEAM activities to inspire your childs creative mind. This class is designed for students entering 2nd to 8th grades who are looking for unlimited fun and adventure. Enroll all day for the entire summer for the special price of $1750, or pick and choose the weeks that fit your schedule. Weekly half day morning or afternoon options are available too. The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor! Enjoy a barbecue style meal, laughs by Comedians Mic Larry and Simply Shanell and enjoy the sounds of singing sensation and recording artist Johnyce! There will be music, dancing and many activities, as well as a VIP charter ride to and from the event! But most of all, you will be a part of helping the Avengers...

Come one and all to the fall FUND fest. This is a fabulous opportunity to support Flaming Pine Youth Camp. Many of the funds used to run camp are raised at this event. The "Boys of Summer" Competition Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Check In & Late Registration: 2:00-3:00 PM at Roadrunner Field, Camp Hours 3-9 PM Limit: 60 Purpose: 1) Evaluation Section run by qualified staff. Evaluation will include: Height, Weight, 40 yard dash, arm strength & bat speed tested on radar gun, agility & quickness. Scores will be given to each individual at the end of camp. 2) Divide campers into teams and play games at the UTSA Baseball & Softball fields. We will provide a game experience. Planet earth is an amazing place full of fascinating creatures! Students will explore the land, sky & ocean while creating art depicting some of their favorite creatures & landscapes. Dont be surprised when you see elephants, giraffes, horses & a Picasso inspired rooster appear during the week. Animals from all over the world will be drawn, painted & created from clay in this camp designed for animal lovers!
