Get the full Camp Hunt experience in one day, at the SummerFest Youth Rally at Camp Hunt, July 16th! We'll have performances by singing groups and other specialty acts. We'll have a hot dog roast, s'mores, archery, carnival games, camp fire, disc golf and sno-cones A special Summerfest obstacle course and a movie under the stars plus the return of Camp Hunt Sumo wrestling Registration and activities will start at 10am and will run until about 11pm. Campers 10-18 years $15 for Saturday only $25 for Saturday and Sunday Price includes all activities and 2 meals!

ALL Youth! On behalf of the District Youth Board, we greet you in the name of Jesus Christ! We pray and hope that you and your youth group are well and blessed. Camp is around the corner and we are excited about it! This year’s theme is “EXCHANGE.” We have felt God tug at our hearts and steer us in this direction with this theme in mind. When the Apostle Paul received his calling from God, he wrote “… for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8, NKJV). An exchange occurred in his life. He left behind knowledge, position, and commodities to live his life for Christ. Our goal for this year’s youth camp is for young people to understand that in every EXCHANGE, something must be given up in order for something to be gained; and our ultimate goal is to gain Christ.

These projects will ROCK your childs world after the lights go out at night. You guessed it, all the projects we create in this camp will glow-in-the-dark! How cool is that? We will be working with a variety of different art supplies including clay, paint and other luminescent materials to create masterpieces your child will be ready to show off in the dark! Please pack a nut free snack and a beverage for your child. LOCATION Sandcastle Park Building at 3060 Patton Road

Imagine the fun students will have creating music with a drumming monkey, escaping the jaws of a chomping alligator, or trying to calm a roaring lion! In this class, students will have weekly projects to create stunning landscapes, architectural structures, villages and more in Creative Mode of Minecraft. Once their models are completed, students will learn to use a program called "Mineways" to 3D Print them to take home! Students will learn about 3D Printing technology and how to properly & safely use the 3D Printer. Class dates are: 02/28, 03/06, 03/13 & 03/20. 9146448100.0
Musical Improv - Pop Songs Level 2 - Eric Schackne - iO West
Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. The only requirements are completion of Pop Songs Level 1 and a vested interest in ear-friendly musical makes ups. Taught by iOWest Musical Director Eric Schackne (323) 962-7560
