Grades 3-8 A week of advanced training for more experienced players, this camp will improve agility, balance and coordination through a series of individual ball mastery exercises. Highly-qualified British coaches will emphasize skill development and mastery of core techniques through individual and small-group practice and games. Players will learn and practice ways to turn, fake and beat opponents as well as master lifts and balances to improve their touch, control and confidence with the ball. TNT Kid's Finess & Gymnastics invites you to participate in our Cheer & Dance Tumbling Camp for boys and girls on Saturday, September 10, 2016. We will teach the basics through advanced tumbling. Every athlete gets the opportunity for 1 on 1 coaching and spotting. Running skills and standing skills will be taught in our state of the art gym equipped with trampolines, spring floors, mats, and a foam pit. This is a great camp to get that new tumbling pass or work on something new with a spotter! Bring your whole team and learn some new group tumblinb to put in your routines. We provide spotters for athletes as young as 5 years old to collegiate athletes. Collegitate athletes must provide proof of NCAA insurance coverage. World Class Swim Lab Friday evening through Saturday afternoon workshop includes Total Immersion Drills, Video Analysis, Leading Research and History on African Swimming Traditions. Send your child off to kindergarten with their mind refreshed after summer break. In this camp they will have fun reviewing letters, early math, pre-reading activities and writing skills. Ceramics 3 - RAKU! Ceramic Intensive - Artists Exchange
For two weeks, your child will be immersed in the world of clay. Campers will learn everything from prehistoric clay working methods, to the modern work of artistic ceramics, and everything in between. The first week is devoted to developing skills using the pottery wheel, sculpting by hand, as well as learning technical aspects of clay including where it comes from, how its used, how its recycled and turned into a finished piece. During the second week, campers will explore different glazing and firing processes including everything that goes into building, loading and firing a traditional Japanese Raku kiln. Safety precautions will be set in place so campers can have a blazingly amazing time! *This is a 9 day camp. Artists Exchange is closed Monday in observance of Independence Day. 401-490-9475
Mad Scientist - Old Trail School
An entire week devoted to the questions who, what, where, when and why. This is a camp all about exploring our very own science projects. Campers will try things like blowing up a balloon with pop rocks, making a lava lamp and dying flowers. Our laboratory will be over flowing with hypotheses, chemistry, laws of gravity and properties of matter. Lets learn, have fun, get messy and a little mad all while being a scientist!!
