Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. This a basketball camp for kids grades 4 - 8 emphasizing FAITH, FUN AND FUNDAMENTALS. Campers will be organized into groups and teams according to age level and ability in order to provide a positive learning experience. Campers will learn that the quest to develop as a basketball player "mirrors" the quest to develop as a Christian. Each day will begin and end with prayer. The themes for each day applying to both basketball and the Christian Life will be commitment, practice, growth and teamwork. Space is limited to 48 campers and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. EACH CAMPER MUST BRING A PACKED LUNCH EVERY DAY. The cost of this week is $340 upfront. The CIT will receive a check for $160 upon completion of the week of camp.
