YHBC Chapel Dedication - Beattyville, KY
You are invited to the dedication of the new chapel at Youth Haven Bible Camp at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21! A reception with refreshments will follow the dedication service. As most of you know, the chapel honors the memory of Julia Brandenburg, daughter of KMM missionaries, Scott and Amy Brandenburg. Chapel services were Julia’s favorite activity at Youth Haven and while she was able to enjoy only one summer as a camper before her passing in 2012, countless children will continue to hear the gospel message in the new chapel in the years to come. Although there may be work yet to be done, the building will be dedicated for God’s use and glory on May 21. If you plan to attend, please contact us by May 9, as this will help in our preparation for the event. If you have prayed, sent a gift for the project, donated materials and/or worked on the new chapel, we would love to have you join us! Please come celebrate and give praise with us!
Teen Bonfire at Pine Ridge Bible Camp - Cedar Springs, MI
Attic Youth Group will be leaving the Attic at 5pm on 10/10 to enjoy an awesome bonfire/games at Pine Ridge Bible Camp in Cedar Springs. COST IS $5 and a permission slip is required. Pick up the permission slip at Youth Group tonight.
Teen Celtic Camp - Boulder Creek, CA
Ages 13-18, $640 early bird registration. Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time singing, dancing, watching Song of the Sea in the meadow, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Before dinner in the late afternoon the pool is open as well as the volleyball court, ping pong table, basket ball and tether ball. Program includes all meals and boarding. Bring bedding, clothes (including swimsuit and jacket), towel, toiletries, bug repellant, sunscreen, your instrument, and music stand. Costumes may be useful, as well as other fun things for the pool and ceilidh as long as they are safe and legal. Theme: Celtic Luau? For players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, oboe, bassoon, harp, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, accordion, percussion and cello. Other activities include crafts, campfire, and bamboo flute making.

All Pack Event. Enjoy the wonderful Oregon Coast while working on your rank advancement and our Summertime Pack Award. Exact timing is TBD, but the dates are reserved. I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

Nest - The Prairie School
The Hawks Haven Nest provides our youngest campers with the same quality and diverse program found in our Primary Camp. Campers participate in fun, active, enriching activities that are developmentally appropriate. While these children will not participate in off-campus field trips, we will bring special events and activities to campus just for them! A typical day will include both individual and small group activities with an emphasis on: • Developing social skills • Providing cognitive challenges • Learning to cooperate and function successfully in a group • Exploring • Building self-confidence • Learning to make choices • Developing a love of learning • Character Development • Creative Thinking Every day will include indoor activities writing, painting, cutting, and puzzles and outdoor activities like water fun and great games. Both give your child a chance to develop gross and fine motor skills and include free choice as well as instructor-led activities. Old Trail will join the Hudson Uniteds Co-ed Indoor Soccer Recreation league. All games will be played at NC Sports Center in Hudson. All practices will be at Old Trail School: Practices will start in the HMAC on Games will be on Saturdays, 2/27 , 3/5, 3/12, 4/2. 4/9, 4/16, and 4/23. Start times of the games will vary. Practices are on Thursday 2/18 , Mon. 2/22 and Thursdays 3/3, 3/10, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21 No practice week of MS spring trips 3/14-3/18 The fee for this program is $180, and will include all league and registration fees, a uniform jersey, and coaching. Deadline for registration is 2/10/16 (registration closed) In addition to signing up through the Old Trail program website, participants need to fill out two Hudson United registration forms, provided in your confirmation email. Please place Old Trail School in the box that asks for specific instructions. Completed forms need to be returned to Mr. Teunissen van ASAP.
