This camp is a young designers dream come true! With an emphasis on the creative process, campers will design and construct their own products from found objects, recycled materials, clay, wire, metal and other building materials; sketch a window display for an imaginary company, and use various art media to complete products. Campers will learn about form, structure, the elements of design and three-dimensional concepts. Stretch your imagination and join us in this creative workshop environment! Iron Men Acro & Agility - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
With coaching and equipment resources from the Gymstars Gymnastics, boys will be introduced to the basics of tumbling acrobatics such as rolls, cartwheels, handstands, handsprings, jumps and safety falls, in addition to mini trampoline fundamentals. To round out this program the mini-men will also practice strength, flexibility, coordination, and agility challenges in a fun, age appropriate format. Strong, flexible and fit boys will be assets to any future basketball, football, or soccer teams. Begin here…go anywhere! Prizes and participation trophies will be awarded to everyone on our show off day May 18th, the last 30 minutes of class. Parents are welcome to come watch their child during this time. Art camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! Its fun, and kids get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. In the morning they will be working on themed projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. Its a great week for kids, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Objective of camp: All participants will experience training opportunities, group and individual instruction from coaches, guidance in sport psychology, race strategy, strength training, injury prevention and nutrition. Our staff and coaches will provide a fun learning environment for various ages in cross country. Youll meet other runners who share your passion. A great week exploring the life of Daniel and his friends, and how they sought Gods wisdom and strength and were able to "StAND" for His glory! Campers will enjoy the full array of camp activities both old and new, playing games, learning new things and being encouraged to trust and follow Jesus. Campers sign up for three achievement classes for the week and also have many choices of free time activities. Mature trained staff guide them through their days and encourage them to love and follow Jesus more and more. (607) 863 4225
Golf and So Much More - Half Day - South Germantown Driving Range
For kids who want to try golf but dont want to spend all day at it, this great combo camp will keep them happy and active all day! With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, all campers will practice putting, chipping, driving, and using irons and woods at the Driving Range (M-Th, 9am-Noon). On Friday, everyone will play 9 holes of golf at a nearby course, then full-day campers will head back for a final fun group activity. Afternoons for full-day campers will be filled with so much more: tennis, basketball, kick ball, mini-golf and water fun at SG Splash Playground. Dont want so much more? Sign up for half-day camp and concentrate on golf! Fee covers instruction, tees, Nike Golf® balls, and transportation Friday. Full-day campers will also receive a Nike Golf® hat and Papa Johns Pizza for lunch on Friday. Well provide clubs to kids who dont have them.
