This camp is aimed at the basketball player who may have some basketball experience but wishes to learn more. The clinic staff will introduce the aspiring player to fundamental basketball skills as well as some of the finer points for the game in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere. The clinic will include demonstrations, contests, guest speakers, and much more. This camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at the Kittery Community Center. Outland Studios Kid Day Camp - Cambridge Springs, PA
Session begins July 11th and ends July 14th from 9 am - noon every day with a final gallery show just for the kids on July 15th at 4pm. Outland Studios kids art day camp! We will explore all the possibilities of the art world in fun and exciting ways. Have your child come and learn about different art mediums and explore their expressive side. Activities will include: Making a Camp Totem Pole (crafting) Exploring the World of Painting ( Acrylic, watercolor, etc) 3D Art (earthen ware and experimental mediums) Art in Nature (Sketching and an outdoor hike) and a Final Mural Piece to be displayed with all of their other work from the week in a Kids Exclusive Gallery Show on the 15th! All kids participating will receive a mixed medium art tablet, charcoal pencil and eraser sets, a paint brush and a kit to keep all of their supplies in! Following a sold-out debut last year, we are bringing back the joy of camp, but for grown-ups only. Grown-Up Summer Camp is a day-long immersive experience with artists, musicians, chefs, curators, and performers throughout the campus. Activities include making cardboard forts to battle rival campers, discovering hidden areas of the IMA campus, foraging the woods for edible plants, and cooking dinner with Cerulean chef Caleb France. Cap off the day gathering by the campfire with a drink with live music by local bands. Tiny Torches Gymnastics - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
For rising PK boys & girls Catch the Olympic spirit and join us this summer for our Tiny Torches Gymnastics Camp. This camp is designed to introduce the littlest all-stars to the sport of gymnastics in a fun, age-appropriate format. Classes will challenge gross motor skill development such as hopping, skipping, and jumping, enhance balance, improve coordination and introduce fundamental of gymnastics. This camp will include instruction in balance beam & floor exercise. We will emphasize developing strength, flexibility and coordination through daily games, challenges and activities. Begin here & join the Road to Rio for 2016 Olympic Year! Daily Olympic games and relays played with prizes and end of camp participation medals will be included. Learn the code, live the code! Hone your skills! Students will learn techniques to safely wield a saber. The mind, the body, and the spirit will be challenged! Class lessons include meditation, yoga, fencing, and some elements of Parkour. As students learn these skills to have a chance to be chosen by a Knight, one must also craft their own saber. As such, each apprentice will design and build their own saber that is truly theirs to keep. Small power tools and soldering techniques will be taught so students may craft their own personal saber.
