SAA Cheer Stars - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
Dance, tumble & cheer your way into the school year! This is an introduction to basics class developed to strengthen skills for aspiring cheerleaders, dancers, and gymnasts. Each class will cover tumbling skills, build proper jump shapes, and strengthen core & leg muscles. Students will be introduced to turning and leaping, and mini trampoline fundamentals. Cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and handsprings are all basics to which dancers, cheerleaders, and gymnasts aspire. Dance basics will be introduced as girls learn to turn and leap with proper technique. Participation awards will be given to everyone on our show off day May 18th, the last 30 minutes of class. Camp Seaside is a summer day camp based at the Mast Landing School on Bow Street in Freeport. Our day camp is designed to spark your childs imagination, grow new friendships and create a memorable summertime experience for all. Some of our time will be spent, weather permitting, at Winslow Park on beautiful Casco Bay. Each week will also consist of a highlight trip and a trip to a local state park or beach. Daily activities will include arts, crafts, sports and games. Campers are divided into age appropriate groups for most activities and trips, but participate in whole camp events as well. We are once again teaming up with Freeport Community Services and the USDA Federally Funded Summer Lunch Program.
