Girls Design 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders, Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 pm, $125 February 2, 9, 23, March 1, 8, 15 Taught by Steve Harberger Girls only Explore the process of design and making. Make concept drawings and refine our sketches as we develop our ideas Create music and play games with controllers we design using Makeymakey Hands on, turning wooden tops on the lathes. Who knows? We may even make some talking sock puppets. What is more fun than bringing your own ideas to life and sharing them with your friends? 40 Years of Camp Goddard - Reunion (SouthMac) - Sulphur, OK
This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Whos ready to have a fiesta? Throughout the week well practice our Spanish while taking trips to the Latino markets in Durham, the Panaderia (bakery), and the Paleteria (ice cream shop). La Cocina Loca campers will shop for lunch ingredients to make their lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and hop on the Duke School bus to travel off campus for lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.
