Growing Scientists: DaVinci Discovery What do painting, engineering, sculpting, music and math all have in common? They are all part of a new camp theme, integrating science and art, for the inventive imaginations of your child. Taking CuriOdysseys observational approach to science, campers will engineer with shapes, document patterns in nature, and find symmetry all around them. Campers will do as DaVinci did hundreds of years ago and explore their curiosity and stretch their creativity. Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. Half Day Camp: 8:30am-12:00noon (Pre-camp from 8:30-9:00am) 650-340-7590

How Are Emergency Situations Handled?
Emergency action plans are in place, reviewed with staff and practiced to ensure that campers are safe. These plans focus on everything from weather and health issues to missing camper or medical emergencies. All staff members, regardless of their role, are trained in these procedures to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Kids & Teen Yoga Camp - Grand Rapids, MI
Children's Yoga Camp: August 22-26th For children ages 7 & up, tweens & teens welcome! All yoga experience levels welcome! Yoga is very beneficial for children's overall health and development. While the emphasis is upon mobility and agility for the younger ages, gradually the postures are improved and perfected. Join us for a daily quickly-paced playful class of yoga asanas (postures), yoga story time about sages, postures, and ethical precepts of yoga (yama and niyama) that will enrich children's understanding and experience of the background of yoga followed by an art and writing activities that will reinforce learning of the sanskrit (the language of classical yoga, which is taught and practiced in the yoga asana class) and english translations of the classical yoga posture names and elements of the names. The class will close with some restorative yoga postures and a chant in Sanskrit to come full circle. We will also learn and practice poses that are soothing for stomachaches, poses that help with headaches, those which help for sore necks and backs after lots of studying and school work, and much more! Summer Cooking Camp - Macon, GA
June 13-16 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. **REGISTRATION CLOSES JUNE 6TH. Final two days to register. ** Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.
