(Link to my donation page: http://tinyurl.com/snorlax2016) HELLO! This summer, I am lucky to be able to volunteer with Unicamp once again! SO WHAT IS UNICAMP?? UCLA UniCamp is a tradition at UCLA that is entering its 81st summer of camp. The session I will be attending this year (Session 2) is during June 25- July 1. Every year there are hundreds of under-served children that may not be dreaming of a bright future. Help us provide these kids with the tools to change their stars and give them the chance to dream big and succeed! All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this summer. Olympic Kid's Camp 2016 - Poulsbo, WA
Summer Kids’ Camp right here at Olympic...is it possible? Yes, we are once again hosting a summer kids camp for kids between second and eighth grade. Three days and two nights of fun, friends, and a challenge about what it means to follow Jesus. Activities include :Horseback Riding, Hiking, Night Games, Campfires, and Swimming. While we are going to have a great time, we will also be spending time learning about what it means to go deeper in our relationship with God. The image of water in the Bible helps us to understand our need for Christ. Should you invite friends? Absolutely, we hope you do! Max Lax Lacrosse - Wellington Gym
Max Lax is a co-educational sports camp that focuses on introducing children to the sport of lacrosse as well as other cooperative games. Your child will learn the basic skills of lacrosse and participate in different games, which will help with the development of those skills while also having fun. At camp your child will also play different team building and cooperative games such as capture the flag, water balloon team tag, lacrosse baseball, dodge ball and European handball. The campers will also have the opportunity to cool off from the summer sun on the camp favorite: Max Lax Mega Slip n Slide. Wrestling Camp - Germantown Friends School
The Germantown Friends School Wrestling Camp is open to students of any ability. Our goal is to give you a dynamic week of training tailored to your ability that will help build the foundation for a great wrestling career. We provide a safe, enjoyable environment and emphasize the ethical aspects of the sport. Participants will work on techniques in the morning, including set-up actions, positions, throws, offense, counter offense, bottom, and more. Live wrestling will take place during the afternoon. The camp will be divided into two groups, junior wrestlers (grades 1 - 5) and senior wrestlers (grades 6 - 12). GFS Wrestling coach and former college wrestler Paul Hammond will not only be directing the camp, but he also will be sharing his passion for the sport he has been practicing since he was fourteen. 3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for 5, 3 OR 2 half days of preschool. A small class size of 8 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps).
