This program is for children in grades 1-4th and all skill levels. The philosophy behind the program is to teach basic skills and fundamentals, develop athletic skills, make new friends, and most importantly have fun! The program stresses good sportsmanship at all times. All equipment will be provided. This is a good program to put your child in if theyre baseball, football, basketball, and/or hockey players. Many of the physical skills worked on during the camp will crossover to those sports. All equipment is provided. Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Math competition camp (Grades 4-5) - The Oakwood School
This summer math camp is intended to prepare students for participation in math competitions at the elementary level. The competitions included in this mathlete preparation include Math Olympiad, Noetic Math Competition, and regional math competitions. Students will utilize questions from previous competitions and other preparatory materials, individually and in groups, to prepare for individual and team competition environments as well as speed round competitions. The goal of this week-long camp is to provide a fun, interactive, and stimulating environment where mathletes can develop their problem-solving abilities, increase the depth and breadth of their math knowledge, and rise to a new level of competitive skill. 2529310760.0

Sports Camp week 4- Soccer - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of soccer camp, children will focus on the basic skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goal tending , as well as agility and foot-eye coordination. Goal tending will only be taught to those children who volunteer for this position. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of soccer camp will be spent discussing the various rules of soccer such as hand ball, pushing and tripping, and playing modified games of soccer. I Troop Camping May 6, 7 & 8 - Sandy Ridge
Spend some time camping with your Girl Scout Troop at Sandy Ridge! Price includes accommodations at Sandy Ridge. Troop is responsible for food and programming during their stay. Troop leaders are required to have specific trainings to camp overnight with their Troop at Sandy Ridge. Please contact Michaela Watts at 843-552-9910 ext. 2390 or for more information on training. Troops must have approval by GSESC to overnight camp at Sandy Ridge. A Trip Approval Form must be submitted to your Regional Volunteer Services Specialist (VSS) at least three weeks prior to reservation date.
