The most appropriate camp option for an 8 year old girl is a day camp program. Day camps are offered by local community centers, schools, youth groups, and some times by the local sports or arts centers. An 8 year old girl would really enjoy a program that provides a good combination of creative arts classes, like pottery, drawing, and active workshops, like yoga and dance. You also want to make sure that she gets exposure to some team sports and swimming, as these activities develop very important skills for her development....

We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The remaining balance will be due on march 21st. This camp will be offered to any school aged child. If there are any questions please feel free to call or message me.

Calling all chefs who love to cook! Fun will definitely be the main ingredient in the kitchen while your child learns how to prepare, bake, and decorate delicious food! Students will be active chefs as they measure, roll, stir and taste their creations. With small class sizes and lots of hands-on experience, this cooking class is sure to be loads of fun for all. Chefs learn the importance of safety and clean up in the kitchen after cooking. Campers come ready to play (ball, shin guards, lunch, drinks, sunscreen, mouth guards optional). Campers receive a camp t-shirt as part of tuition.
