"Don't bother me!" "You're a mistake!" These are the things far too many children hear on a regular basis, and a lot of these children are right here within our Lewis-Clark Valley and the surrounding area. These kids hear these things (and far worse than this) from their guardians, parents, and/or other family members. Many also deal with sexual and physical abuse, come from broken homes, and have been neglected or abandoned. Others still have bounced from place to place all their lives and don't know what it is like to have a family, a home, a safe environment, or even to just be a kid. There are children who have taken on the role of a parent to their sibling(s) at a young age (some as early as 4 or 5 years old) because their parent(s)/guardian(s) aren't present either mentally or physically. It is recorded that annually, 3.6 million cases of child abuse, neglect or abandonment are reported in America, and one of these victims dies every six hours...

This will be our 3rd consecutive December hosting a Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp! Come out to support an awesome charity, have fun and get your sweat on... that is unless you hate kids! ;) All fitness levels are welcome! Classes are 1 hour and begin at 8am & 9:30am. Max 20 people per group so be sure to sign up in advance! $20/person (you can pay at the door or in advance). The $20 donation will cover the cost of a NEW coat, gloves and hat for 1 child. TO REGISTER: 1) We have a sign up sheet at the gym. 2) Email us at [email protected] and let us know which time you would like to attend. Coat-A-Kid provides new coats, hats and gloves, free of charge, to kids in need in the St. Louis area. They are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of the proceeds go to coating children!

Whether it is flag football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or dodgeball, you are sure to have fun and learn something new about all the sports we play during the week. 09th 2016 Camp Buckaroo FALL BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Fall Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cool or cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day.
