Year 1 was a beautiful start. We're ready to take this thing to the next level for year 2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. We must respect the rules and history of the space and leave this in place for the 2016 edition. - This year, we have streamlined the process – your ticket to the campout will be included in your lodging at time of booking. FREE- Type 1 Diabetes Teen Camp - Cornville, AZ
JDRF has partnered together with Camp Soaring Eagle to offer a FREE CAMP to Type One Diabetic children ages 8-15 to come experience the healing power of laughter! CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. Campers take their creations to the limit with the Architecture & Engineering camp. Kids discover mathematical principles necessary to build structures capable of withstanding the forces of nature. From dams that stop powerful flooding waters to bridges that span the widest of gaps, our budding architects and engineers learn how proper designs lead to strong, safe structures.
