Summer Camp Kick Off - Midland, MI
The 8th Annual Summer Camp Kick Off! FREE EVENT! Open to the public. Learn about camps and classes from around the region from noon – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 12. Summer Camp Kick Off was created to help parents streamline their summer camp planning for their children. You may come to learn about pottery classes, but also learn that another organization has tennis lessons and so much more. It is a great one-stop shop! Single Day Science Camp - PM - Science Fun Lab
Its a weekday, and school is out! If you would like something fun for your junior scientist to do from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm, then bring ‘em on by! We will have all sorts of fun science going on at the lab. Limited seats available. Drop off begins at 1:30 pm for our single day camp. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.A local favorite for many years, Seaside Day Camp is held at the newly renovated Scout House at Glen Park, Cardiff ?by-the Sea. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Our caring and experienced camp staff share the goal of providing a fun and safe environment that helps nurture the social, physical, educational and emotional wellbeing of each child. Campers will enjoy a healthy daily snack and a weekly field trip in addition to all the fun activities that are offered throughout the week. Algebra II - For-Credit Optional - Head-Royce School
This course is taught by veteran Head-Royce Math Teacher Chris Davies A U.C. Certified equivalent of academic year Algebra II taught in an intensive six-week format. Top-performing Head-Royce students may use the course to accelerate into Pre-calculus pending departmental approval. Other purposes for taking this course include reviewing and previewing Algebra II as needed. (As with all summer for-credit courses, students may choose to audit this course or proceed on a for-credit basis.) Textbooks will be loaned to the students, but students must provide their own graphing calculator (Head-Royce uses the TI84 or TI83). Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry, minimum C grade. Equestrian Adventure - Winding Creek Stables
This awesome day camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm. This session is best suited for riders who are proficient (at minimum) at the walk and posting trot. We will work on building upon riding basics, jumping, and horse care. Campers will be presenting a drill team performance at the end of camp, and we will even go on a trail ride a in DuPont Forest on Friday, August 5th! This camp is open to ages 10-16. Riders must take at least one lesson at Winding Creek to be evaluated for camp due to the overnight trip and trail ride components.
