Join us for the 2016 Northwestern Boys Soccer Academy End-of-Summer Camp! Get your last chance to enjoy camp before the Fall season begins. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their soccer skills with technical training, compete in small sided games, and enjoy the North Shore Lakefront for Beach Soccer an hour every day! Under the supervision of Northwestern University Mens Soccer Staff and Coerver Certified coaches, your young soccer player is sure to have a great time while developing his ability on the field. So the kids are off from school today...Bring them to Kayla's Creative Art Studio for an fun, artful, educational experience! Our dedicated Instructors have designed Kids Mini-Camps for all the days that the kids are off from school between now and the New Year. Students will experiment with different mediums to create a new masterpiece each day! Students are welcome to bring a peanut-free snack and drink. If your child is staying for the full day, please pack a lunch and drink for them. Art instruction begins at the designated start time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than 4 children are registered. No refunds or credits if parent/guardian cancels within 10 days of the start date or for missed classes.

Soccer (Grades 3-5) (PM) - MA Upper School Soccer Fields
This camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of soccer in a setting of encouragement and confidence building. Drills to improve skills will be added and games will focus on team play and scrimmages will be held to demonstrate tactical understanding. All participants need a soccer ball, shin guards, soccer shoes, a water bottle, a snack and sunscreen. WCU Gymnastics is hosting a summer camp for female cheerleaders of any level who want to work on tumbling skills, body awareness, flexibility and acrobatics. Come join NESS to learn about the fantastic sport of fly fishing. Saltwater fly fishing is used to target a variety of species available depending on the season. Striped bass and bluefish are local all summer, with the occasional transient like banded rudder fish and jack crevalle. Learn saltwater specific fly fishing techniques to fish your local waters. Gain experience in casting, tackle and fly selection, rigging, fish fighting and proper release techniques. This activity demands specific methods and large areas of space so enrollment is limited. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. Summer camp at Historic Oak View returns offering a full day camp for the first time! Join us for this years farm camp to catch a glimpse in the life of a farmer and much more. Each day will explore a different theme of farm life. The campers will learn through games and hands-on activities about the farms animals (including our goats!), the history of the farm, the families who called Oak View home, the crops grown here, and finally, what the kids did for fun on the farm.
