Summer camping trip in the process of planning. Location will be at RIMROCK LAKE again this year, close to the same area for those that participated last year. Will post more details as time comes along. Scheduled date will be the last weekend of June for certain.
Kadesh Youth Camp - Dover Plains, NY
2nd Annual Kadesh Youth Camp Come and join our last hoorah for the summer. !! Held at CAMP BERKSHIRE in Wingdale, NY on SEPTEMBER 4-6, 2015. Our speaker is our very own PASTOR JON CLAYBURN AGE: 18+ ( under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Cost is $30 PER PERSON, which includes the stay, Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast, fun activities, and more summer memories. PAYMENT IS DUE by SEPTEMBER 1, payable to DANBURY-BETHEL SDA CHURCH. There is NO FOOD served on Friday evening, so we do encourage you to have something to eat beforehand or bring snacks to munch on. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT: tent, air mattress, sleeping bag, bug spray, etc. The facility offers an OUTDOOR POOL (included in $30 fee) so feel free to bring APPROPRIATE swim wear. Teen Camp is for all teens going into 7th grade through those who are graduating this year. Come Join us for a fun filled, spirit filled week of awesome games, food, and preaching. We will be hold a Registration Sunday on March 6th at which time all completed registration forms and a $50 registration fee are due to recieve a discount on the total cost of camp. While Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% FUN! Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most importantly - their mind! With a little bit of ingenuity children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. Primary Ballet - Old Trail School
The early childhood ballet class is designed to provide young students in grades K-2 the basic foundation for their dance education. This class welcomes beginners and will cover the fundamentals of classical ballet technique and etiquette. The important of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be stressed. Students will work at a traditional barre, learn combinations in the center, and dance gracefully across the floor - the universal foundation for the training of a ballet dancer. Strengthening for Pointe - Building Strong Feet and Legs. The strengthening for pointe class is designed to prepare the young student for pointe work. Picking up pencils with the toes, working with thera bands, doing repetitions of releves and eleves helps to strengthen the toes, ankles, and muscles of the entire foot and leg.
