This 3 night mini-session is a great introduction to Camp Kirby! Adventurers are entering 4th & 5th grades, and live in main camp cabin groups. Adventurers focus on fun in a lively environment. They camp out overnight in the Kirby woods, learn to canoe, try their hand at archery, and participate in sports, games, and arts and crafts. Kid's Camp is from 9am-11am for players ages 7-15. Cost is $20 to participate and also includes an event t-shirt and a hotdog and a water. Bring your glove!!! Registration is open! Forms will be available in the Evart Middle School office. The Home Run Derby will begin at noon! Contact your favorite Varsity player to purchase a baseball. Middle School Alive! - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
"Alivers" will enjoy a fun and challenging combination of both on-site and off-site activities. Campers will be involved in on-site activities such as the group challenge course, swimming, crafts, hiking, campfires, talent shows, enjoy a group campout and cookout, play games, prepare skits for the weekly talent show, participate in devotions and help lead worship services. Other activities include high ropes, GaGa ball, and more. Off-site, campers may canoe on Lake Reese (about 10 miles from Mount Shepherd) and/or hike on Ridge Mountain (about seven miles from Mount Shepherd). 336-629-4085

Junior Day Camp - Camp Waubanong
Our Junior Camp program is for children ages 7-11 who wish to attend camp, but are not sure whether or not they feel ready to stay overnight. Junior Campers will arrive with day campers on the first Monday morning of the session, and should bring supplies to set up their own bunk (sleeping bag, toothbrush, a few changes of clothes, swim gear, towels), whether or not they will stay the night. Junior Campers will follow the same daily schedule as the Traditional Overnight Camp, with the exception that they will have a block of time following afternoon snack to decide whether or not they would like to stay the night, and time to communicate with their families or guardians about their decision. Families are charged on a per-night basis, so campers are welcome to stay as many or as few nights as they would like. These campers will have a bunk set up in a regular cabin group, so that the transition is seamless for them, should they decide to stay over. We ask that campers reach a final decision for that day by 3:30pm, so that we can plan for evening activities and breakfast, and families are clear about... (802) 490-5550
