In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs. Have your child join us for a super duper fun week, and youll be amazed by what your budding little scientist has learned along the way, just by using a little imagination and some basic scientific knowledge. Float amidst God’s beautiful creation for 4 days and 3 nights along the Missouri River. Sr. Teen Camp August 1-6 Missouri River Float Trip Boys & Girls entering grade 10 and up to age 19 Cost: $170 Register by July 25 This is a pre-register camp with limited space. Check-in time: 10am-12pm, Monday, August 1 Registrations available at www.lewtana.com Plenty of canoeing, swimming, Bible classes and day hikes along the river are on the schedule. Additional items to bring: a life jacket, a set of warm clothes, good hiking shoes, a flashlight, a modest one-piece swimsuit, a small backpack. Insect repellant and sunscreen are provided. If you have a canoe or extra lifejackets we could borrow please contact us. Camp ends with a program on Saturday at 1:30. Parents are encouraged to attend the program, as there are awards given out and a slide show of pictures from the week. This is a pre-register camp with limited space. This 4 day, 5 hour day camp is filled with everything a horse lover would dream of including; a full 45 minute riding lesson where a licensed instructor will teach students how to ride in a fun environment, hands on grooming and tacking station, a barn safety lesson, fun horse craft, horse games and much more!
