LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Creating on Canvas - Spring Has Sprung - Ballenger Creek Elementary School (Title 1)
5 Week Session Your artist will create five individual canvas paintings! We will explore themes such as bugs, flowers, and the beach all while learning acrylic painting techniques. Aprons will be provided, but please be aware that our artist quality paint does stain. NOTES: 1. Please pack a small PEANUT FREE snack for your child. We will have a 15 min snack break before class starts. 2. After school, students will be dismissed via announcements to the designated area or classroom. If students do not show we will contact the front office and the parent/guardian to make sure there is a reason for your childs absence. **Please remind your child they have Club Scientific or KidzArt in the morning so they do not forget where to go that day after school. 3. -- Pick up is at 5:00 pm * Pick up will be out front of the school or in the front entry area. * You will need to sign your child out at pick up. Badgerdog Book Crush - O. Henry Museum
A summer program offered in partnership with the O. Henry Museum... We invite young readers to explore a fantastic novel, take it apart, play around in its pages, admire its sentences and characters and questions, and create new work based on the novel. This workshop is led by a Badgerdog teaching artist (professional writer), and Book Crushers will showcase their work for parents on the final day. In previous years we crushed on Wonder by R.J. Palacio and The Turtle of Oman by Naomi Shihab Nye. Well announce this years title as soon as possible. 512-542-0076

JAVA WITH MINECRAFT - Memphis University School
Want to learn the Java programming language? Want to mod (modify) in Minecraft? Do both with this camp as you learn the fundamentals of Java programming by creating your own modification for every item, block, or creature you add. First design the graphics, then modify Java code to quickly program new features. You will edit Java templates in order to learn the fundamentals of the language without getting bogged down typing hundreds of lines of code, one by one.
