5, 6, 7, 8! This camp is all about creative movement in a playful camp environment. If you ever wanted to find out what dance is all about or if you already enjoy it, you will love what we will do together this week. We will concentrate on the study of ballet, creative movement, jazz, and hip-hop dancing. Dance, music, creative expression, and lots of fun will all be a part of our time together. The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.
