We hope that our campers will get an inside look at our womens basketball program here at Nebraska University. Our campers can expect to learn both basic funadmentals and advanced skills. Our campers will also benefit from working with a division one staff in addition to our womens basketball players. This class begins with essential lessons for to empower new knitters. Lessons will include choosing supplies, reading instructions, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off. Using these basic techniques, participants will learn how to create different knitting patterns using the knit and purl techniques, including seed stitch, ribbing, stockinette, and garter. By the end of the class, the students will have created a scarf using techniques learned in the class. (201) 427-1458

for Wilmington Montessori Students & alumni grade 3 through grade 8 Wednesdays, 3:00-4:00 The art of a cappella is singing without any instruments, but rather, using your voices to make the background instrumental sounds and beats. You?ll learn tons of cool information about breeds, colors, markings of horses and more! Games and other activities will be included as well. The KMS Cycling preseason CX Camp will leave you ready and eager to begin the 2016-2017 Cyclocross season! There are many skills and race secrets involved in Cyclocross, and this camp will cover most of them! Topics include cornering, sand, barriers, hole shots, run-ups, and off-cambers, to strength and conditioning methods and plans, race preparation, course inspection, race tactics, pit management, bike maintenance, set-up, and repair, the importance of tire pressure, preparing for training/racing in inclement weather, riding efficiently, video analysis, practice races, and pathways to the elite levels of cyclocross. There will be demonstrations, drills, training rides, on-bike games, discussions, and guest appearances from top collegiate and local pro racers. This camp is targeted toward motivated 13 to 16 year-old junior Cyclocross racers of any ability.
