Get up off the couch! Athletes will have the opportunity to try new sports and games or have fun perfecting the ones they already love, while staying fit. Sports may include: volleyball, kickball, basketball, flag football, and pickle ball. Athletes should wear loose comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. The Short Films Studio - The Evergreen School
Take a seat in the directors chair as you learn how to construct high-quality cinematic experiences. Youll learn how to plan, shoot and edit video like the pros as we cover camera operation, storyboards, shot types, framing, and editing with Adobe Premiere. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage. Please contact Jay Goodlett to confirm that you have the required training to participate. Step into the role of a lifetime and learn the secrets of the Dramatic Arts! Using traditional and modern acting techniques, we will explore the dynamics of drama through the use of scene work. Your teaching artist will assign scenes from both contemporary and classical theatrical plays/musicals as you learn to expand your talents through the help of others.
