FIRST CLASS is Saturday It is NOT too late to join us.. (Class might go until 5:00) And every Saturday after that except 11/28 and 12/26 Recital 1/17/16 Class Description --------------- ACT I - INTRODUCTION TO ACTING II: AGES 5-17 Students ages will be exposed to various acting warm ups and exercises connecting movement and sound. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Returning students from the Summer Camp will be given an advanced curriculum --------- Acting Class Fee $100.00 for 14 weeks Payment schedules are available Saturdays 3:30- 4:30 or 5:00 October 3 - January 16 No class 11/28 or 12/26

Oh Jonah!: Music Camp 2016 Monday – Friday, August 8-14, 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Oh, Jonah Practice & Activities 12 – 12:30 p.m. Lunch Bunch 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Field Trip Camp Cost: $20 (includes CD, t-shirt, snacks). Field Trip Cost: Extra cost per activity Register here: http://www.123contactform.com/form-2044925/HBC-Music-Camp-2016 The children will be learning a musical about the life and times of Jonah. Rachel will direct the music and Betty (Elizabeth) will direct the enrichment activities. We have need of a snack coordinator and set designer in addition to youth counselors. This year, we would like to extend our day to 3:00 p.m. to include afternoon activities such as service, swimming, bowling, skating, etc. In order to add the component, we need willing adults to chaperone the afternoon outings. If you are interested in having some fun with some cool kids or if you have service project ideas you can help facilitate, then please contact Rachel.

This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. Come see and bid on beautiful hand made items from local artisans as well as ski pases from Stratton and Mount Snow and many other treats and surprises! It is the season of giving and gratitude. Here is a fun way you can help ensure the future of these enriching programs for our kids, while also getting some of your holiday shopping done!

Get a chance to learn and improve on the fundamentals of basketball plus have tons of fun interacting with our staff. Enjoy skill stations, contest, games, lectures, and much more! • Ages- 7 – 17 years old • Drop-off- 8 – 9 am and pick-up 4 – 5 pm. • Lunch included daily 8434086870.0
2016 Survival Day Camp - Botetourt County Recreation Department
This day camp will take adventure, competition and teamwork to fun heights as we play and do creative activities to see who will take the Survivor prize. Come as an individual or bring your friends to this outrageously fun day camp. We will do survivor games and activities in the mornings and enjoy the cool water of Lake Eagle in the afternoon. Lunch provided each day with kid friendly foods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants will need to bring a towel, bathing suit, sunscreen and waterbottle for the day. Lunch will be provided but if a child has an allergy to some foods, you will need to pack their lunch. Children will be dropped off at Camp Eagle at 9am and will need to be picked up at 4pm each day. There will be two waivers that must be signed. LOCATION Camp Eagle, Fincastle, VA
