Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. Teen Summer Garden Camp - Carlisle, PA
Cumberland County, PA – New this summer, a horticulture program designed just for teens! Join the Master Gardeners of Cumberland County for their first-ever Teen Summer Garden Camp on two Mondays, June 20 and June 27, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Held at the Penn State Extension Office in Carlisle and the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SEAREC) in Manheim, PA, this fun-filled camp offers teens ages 13-15, or in grades 7-9, the ability to explore and discover the “behind-the-scenes” of a garden. The first camp session on June 20 offers teens the opportunity to delve deeper into horticulture topics and engage in hands-on learning about the scientific method, photosynthesis, chromatography, soils, microscope skills, and plant identification. Teens will also build their very own gourd birdhouse. Come prepared for plenty of exploration, observations, activities and discussions! For the second camp session on June 27, teens will travel to the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Center (SEAREC) in Manheim, PA. Campers will take a wagon tour across the research farm, explore thousands of annual and perennial flowers, visit the Idea Gardens, and create a colorful bandana using vegetable dyes. Kid's Day Camp (Mom's Day Out!) - Searcy, AR
You may drop children off for a 1/2 day or full day camp experience. Morning camp will consist of an acrylic 16 X 20 painting winter scene along with a hands-on activity. For the afternoon session, children will start with another hands-on craft with a smaller canvas painting. Children may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 11:45 a.m. or drop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. If you opt for full day (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), your child(ren) will get to participate in both morning and afternoon activities. The cost for the day camp for 1/2 day is $35 for the full day will be $70. If staying the entire day, we will provide sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza with a drink, or you may bring your own sack lunch.

Day Camp Half Day Session #1 - Van Andel Soccer Stadium - Hope College
The Hope Soccer Day Camp is designed for players of various ages and ability levels. Campers ages 6 to 14 choose the Hope Soccer Day camp for the fun and educational experience that focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork and developing a love for the game of soccer. Players attending the camp are divided into groups by age and ability level. This structure allows the coaching staff to create a learning environment that challenges each child with appropriate instruction and engaging game environments. Throughout the week the campers build strong relationships with their coaches and teammates. Ski Trip Male Participants 2016 - Camp Paivika
Adult campers between the ages of 18 and 99 with physical and/or developmental disabilities. 2 nights. Personal Care: Participants must be independent with their personal care needs. Individuals who require more than minor assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding and other personal care will not be accepted. Individuals requiring medical care other than the administration of medications will not be accepted. There will not be a nurse in attendance- medications will be managed by trained camp staff. Behavioral Challenges: Individuals with severe behavioral issues including acting out, inability to remain with the group, self-injurious/assaultive behaviors or aggressive tendencies will not be accepted. Campers will be assisted in ski activities and/or camping activities but must be interested and willing to participate in order to attend either of these programs. Staffing Ratios: Participants must be able to function safely in a group environment. Staff to camper ratios will be 1 to 5 during most times of the day.
