Farm Fun camp is a unique opportunity for campers to work with the livestock, gardens, and natural areas at Greenacres while exploring the science happening on the farm. The camp will also include plenty of games, exploration, and farm fresh treats. Past camp activities have included assisting with weighing cattle, testing soil, planting cover crops, making pickles, spending time with the sheep, and Brix testing vegetables. This camp is best suited to campers with an interest in exploring the science behind farming and gardening, who get excited about real farm work! Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes or boots. My daughter is 13 and enjoyed this camp. The camp encourages community service for children entering grades 7–10. The goal of this camp is to raise youth to become responsible adults. Fall Softball Camp - Linton Youth League Sports Complex
We are pleased to announce a one day Fall Softball Camp open to players from 5 years of age to 8th grade. The camp will be held at the Linton Youth Complex on Saturday September 5th. This camp will be conducted by The Indiana Tribe coaches and staff and is open to everyone regardless of skill level and where a player lives. Players will be divided into age groups and we will focus on fundamental softball skills, game knowledge, and we will have fun doing it. Cost is $10/player and will include a lunch of a hot dog, chips and a drink. Players will be divided up in the afternoon for games and skills competitions. Camp times are from 9am-3pm. A separate instructional pitching time will be available from 4-6pm. Cost for the pitching clinic will be $5/player if you attended the camp or $10/player if the player is only attending the pitching clinic. We will focus on beginning pitching mechanics and drills. Ages 7 years to 8th grade are welcome. Registration is available the day of the event, but you are encouraged to pre-register via our Facebook Event post or by calling or texting Greg Elliott at 812.798.0174.

If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. Tracy Aviary Art Camp for Kids - Tracy Aviary
Join us as we take art to Tracy Aviary. We will meet on location and will set-up our drawing boards to sketch the birds and their habitats. We will use several mediums including: pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, markers, and ink. This is a great time to learn new art techniques while spending time outdoors and seeing some amazing creatures. We will provide all the supplies as well as a VAI t-shirt for all students.
