This camp is designed to work with girls who are entering or already competing at the Varsity level. Emphasis on strengthening skills and fundamentals of basketball is key. 110% effort will be requested of all campers as they challenge one another with friendly competitions and games. Individual skill drills include: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, defense and offensive moves. Team/Group skill drills include: team offense/defense, moving without the ball, rebounding/blocking out. Campers will be challenged each day to compete at their highest level while incorporating friendly competition. Kids Night Out - Great Pumpkin - York, SC
It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! Join us as the weather cools a bit for all the fall festivities, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Great Pumpkin. Art in nature is everywhere, whether youre looking at the veining on a dragonflys wings or scrutinizing the filaments of a birds feather. In this camp well use all our senses and some helpful tools to explore natures gallery searching for inspiration for our own works of art. Using clay, paints, found materials, herbs, wood, sand and bits of fallen sky, campers will let their imagination run wild as they learn about the natural world and express themselves creatively. Mt. Hood Session 1 - 14 & Older - Mt. Hood Academy House
Your daughter must be a 14 and older ski racer to participate in this camp. Session 1 at Keelys Ski Camp is seven days, three days on snow, one day off and then 3 days on. Summer is an opportune time to develop and improve technique, for this reason we emphasize drills each day of skiing. The first day focuses on free skiing and drills. Day 2 & 3 are more drills and gate training. Day 4 is OFF and we offer fun activities either in Hood River, rafting the Deschutes River, or a trip to Portland. Day 5,6 & 7 include more gate training, free skiing and drills. Day 7 is also the travel day. At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS).
