LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Swim, Tennis and Flag Football Camp - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Please sign up early for our popular tennis, flag football & swim camps held at Palo Altos Rinconada Park and Pool. Participants start each day with a tennis lesson 10-11:30am from the staff of Tennis program. Following tennis, the participates will eat with swim staff to eat from 11;30 am until 12:30 pm in the Rinconada Park. Following lunch the participates will head out to the field to engage in flag football from 12:30-2:30 pm with the Skyhawks coaching staff. After Skyhawks flag football, the participants will head over to the Rinconada Pool where they will enjoy swimming lessons, water games and be supervised by our lifeguards. Cost includes tennis lessons, soccer lessons, entrance to recreation swim, and supervision. Participants should bring a bag lunch, tennis racket, bathing suit, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a towel each day. Ages 8-12. Pre and Post Care will be available before and after this camp. This Christian camp has helped to instill a love of Christ for my 12 year old daughter. Along with the Christian focus, she also enjoyed traditional camping activities. We're back. Save the dates, we'll be taking over Roseland Resort again for a weekend bonanza of pool parties, camp fires, club ragers and sunrise excursions int he woods together. Year 1 was a beautiful start. We're ready to take this thing to the next level for year 2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. Science Beach Camp Week 2 - Roundhouse Aquarium
Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 4-10 **pick up and drop off will be on 11th St and Manhattan Ave, near Beckers. There is a city event at the pier this week, so please leave extra time to get through traffic. *snacks provided *t-shirt included Activities may include: digging for sand crabs, playing in the waves, dissecting squid, learning about sharks, looking at plankton using a microscope, building sand sculptures, coke explosions, making crafts, building a boat, doing experiments, touching live animals, shooting a lemon cannon, playing beach games, and more! *A schedule of what activities will be done each day is available on our website: / Important Information: No refunds or credit without 2 business days notice for cancellation of any class -10% charge for all other cancellations -$10 charge for all class scheduling changes -There is a $10 charge per child for each 15 minutes a guardian is late for pick up -CPR/First aid certified staff present at all camps -All water activities done in front of LA county lifeguard tower -Average 3 campers per counselor, Maximum of 5 campers per counselor 310-379-8117

Cave Inertiam! Romam Eamus! This week well travel back in time to explore the history, culture and daily life of the ancient Romans. We will make Roman armor and practice battle strategies, prepare and sample Roman foods, create Roman art and much more. Well even learn a little Latin along the way.
