Arrival/Pickup Times: Meet directly at Covecrest at 7pm on Friday, September 23. The retreat will end Sunday at Covecrest at 11:00am. Please have your parent pick you up from Covecrest at this time. Creative Writing: Imagination Station - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. He has taught Creative Writing for 19 years at BJPS and has formerly taught Creative Writing at Indiana University and Franklin College. Email Mr. Wagner directly at with questions. 3175247050.0
All-Star Camp - UFCU Disch-Falk Field
The All-Star Camp is for the serious ballplayer aged 13-18. Each player will run through a professionally-run showcase workout where he will get an opportunity to display his speed, agility, work ethic, offensive and defensive skills. Each player will receive an individual player evaluation from his coach at the end of camp. He will also get the opportunity to play in controlled scrimmages on UFCU Disch-Falk Field and tour the facilities. 512-720-2527

This is a session that helps campers transition into being a CIT. In preparation for becoming role models for the younger generations of campers, participants in the CIT camp will undergo a training schedule that mimics the staff training period prior to summer camp. Students learn the basic rules of the card game of Magic. Students will learn how to construct decks and create card combos, and, of course, duel with friends! Your child does not have to own nor bring Magic cards to participate in this class; we will provide the cards. 206-957-1533
