Morning: DaVinci Inventors We want you to become the next Leonardo Da Vinci! Using LEGOs, students will be introduced to Da Vincis inventive machines. This is your chance to be challenged with projects built around creativity, design and engineering. Leonardo created and improved upon the greater mechanical wonders of the world! Inventive minds will be able to build Odometers (to measure the distance a robot has traveled), Lifting Jacks (to hold & raise heavy loads), and not to mention the inspiration for the HELICOPTER. This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. Canoe trip on the Au Sable River with overnight lodging at YMCA Camp Timbers. Co-ed, ages 13-17. Join YMCA Camp Timbers staff for a TEEN ADVENTURE WEEKEND canoeing the Au Sable River! The weekend begins with a Friday night stay at Camp Timbers before launching on the Au Sable River Saturday morning. After spending Saturday canoeing the river, participants return to Camp Timbers in the evening to enjoy S’mores around a campfire. The weekend ends with debriefing, unpacking, and a sampling of adventure activities at camp on Sunday. Cost is $75 for Y members and $90 for non-members and includes: meals, lodging, use of canoeing gear, transportation between Camp Timbers and the Au Sable River, and programming.
