This training program equips athletes with the fundamental skills they need to be ready for the competitive performance basketball arena. Focus is placed heavily on ball handling, personal offensive moves, shooting, defense, and conditioning. Athletes will also participate in Ignition scrimmages to put their skills to the test and highlight their improvement. A big part of competitive basketball preparation is developing the character qualities necessary to handle pressure and persevere. Our coaches are committed to growing each athletes character along with their athletic ability. Creative Writing: Imagination Station - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. Jump Start Flag Football - Rotary Park
The All Pro Football camp will teach campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This program is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "NFL Fast Football". The week will culminate in a fun "super bowl" on the last day of camp which parents will be invited to attend.
