This camp session (for students entering grades 6-12) will be staffed by the Temple football coaches as well as current Temple football players. The passion our coaches have for the game will be seen in how they coach your child, using the same intensity and detail they use with our players. Proper technique and safety will be taught to each player attending the camp. The opportunity to work with our players and coaches will give you the best value and experience of any camp you attend! Ultimate Youth NFL Football Camp! - Olney, MD
Join local DMV native and star Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins for the ultimate kids football camp this summer. The camp will be hosted by Jenkins and ten NFL Players from around the league. The non-padded, light contact camp aims to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. The two-day camp is for 5th grade through rising ninth grade boys and girls, and promotes healthy activity, exercise and teamwork. Know any kids who would love to attend? Drop your kids off for the morning, and enjoy an adult class or some time to yourself! In this 4 day camp, kids will start their day with a playful yoga class and games, relaxation, an art project, and a snack! Snack will be provided. PowerHouse Regional Youth Conference - Milford, IN
The PowerHouse regional youth conference will return to Camp Mack again this year, providing a weekend of worship, workshops, music, recreation, and more for senior high youth in the Midwest and their advisors. The Church of the Brethren BVS and Workcamp staff will provide leadership for the weekend on the theme "Plug In: to God, each other & the world" based on 3 John 1:13-14. Cost is $80 for youth, $70 for advisors and will go up $10 if you register after October 21. Registration is LIVE at www.manchester.edu/powerhouse. Students in the area will get to have their first (hopefully) Oh My God moment while driving their own vehicle. The only driving education offered to teens is Driver’s Ed in high school (sitting behind a desk) and then 6 hours behind the wheel to get their permit. Sizzling Music, Latin Dance & Culture Adventure Week We make it easy for our campers to learn the basic dance steps of traditional dances of Columbia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Perú, Chile & more. Campers gain geographical, cultural and artistic awareness of South American countries through exposure to their music, food and dance forms. Additionally campers learn how to move to new rhythms. No prior dance training required. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports and discover the joys of learning Spanish through engaging activities. Theme vocabulary includes colors, counting, verbs, nouns related to instruments, adjectives, sounds, tastes and places. Campers learn common Spanish words & phrases for movements, directions & parts of the body while getting in shape to lively music. Celebration Day Wed. (participation optional) Global Trek Day Come to camp wearing the colors of your favorite Latin American countrys flag and decorate your own passport.
