Send a Kid to Camp Campaign - Morrisville, VT
This year, we mark 40 years of encouraging, educating and strengthening families. To celebrate, we're helping send kids to camp with camperships of up to $400 for kids whose families cannot afford such an expense. 100% of your donation goes directly to a kid's camp tuition. Donate through the “Donate Now” heart on our main page, or form a team to help raise funds for camperships. It really is the power of community that builds healthy kids. Your company, organization or club can demonstrate support by planning a fundraising event, then posting photos here along with results. Together we can make this a great summer for deserving kids.

Outdoor Youth Day - West Palm Beach, FL
(FSCA) Florida Sportsmen's Conservation Association 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Our Annual event is scheduled for February 6,2016 at the Everglades Youth Camp in J W Corbett WMA. We are expecting over 1,500 children of all ages to come and enjoy various activities. In an effort to reduce the increasing decline of our children's interest in the outdoors, FSCA has created an Outdoor Youth Day. Outdoor Youth Day is a Program specifically designed to educate children to many different recreational activities available in our natural areas but munch more importantly have some fun outdoors. This is the 16th Annual Outdoor Youth Day event and It’s FSCA biggest day of the year. Youth Day has buggy rides, canoeing, pony rides, airboat rides and displayed, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. Preview our new class: KidCamp! Great for most children and younger teens. Your kids will have fun and not even realise they are exercising! This is a partner class...so come ready to work out with your child or bring a friend with them!

1st Event of 2016: Oblivion - Columbus, IN
Something that has been toying with the New Sanctuary for a long time finally gets down to brass tacks. Big changes occur in the world, new horrors appear, bad stuff happens to good people, and the smart folks will bring their own in-game light sources. This is a full weekend long immersive LARP experience. The price is $60 for players who will need to bring sleeping bags, toiletries, extra socks, costumes, weapons, spell packets, and extra badass to withstand a weekend of imagination and adventure. Meals in the tavern are an additional cost, but hearty and well worth it. NPCs pay $15, and don't need to bring costuming. Their admission fee covers their meals as well. NPCs need to bring dark clothes they can move in, sturdy shoes, extra socks, sleeping bag, and toiletries. We ask that people try to get to the site by 8 so that they can have time to get into costume and go through registration before lay on at 10. We will be able to arrive on site as early as 3 PM. Camp Collegiate Session 8 3rd-8th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Hawley Session 8: Crime Busters Camp. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced. Lets Go Green - Foothills Montessori School
What do camping, composting and recycling have in common? Being in touch with the Earth! Involve your child in our week-long camp where they experience the fun and peace of camping outside. Seeing first hand the importance of recycling plastics and paper, and composting organic materials to feed the plants in our outdoor space. Special books and art projects will be introduced to the students as they do this green camp. 7024070790.0

Fairy Tale Theatre - OCS Arts Center
Campers will be offered the chance to play their favorite character in a fairy tale mashup that promises lots of laughs and maybe a lesson or two. They will learn the basics of theatre performance while rehearsing a show that will be performed for family and friends on the last day of class. When campers are signed up, please tell us what character they would like to be and the teachers will write an original play incorporating all the chosen characters. Cutoff date for signups is July 13 (to complete script writing).
