In this class students will create one-of-a-kind, awesome art to wear. Paint a T-shirt, jeans or jacket with instructions on using fabric paint, textile design and color coordination. Next, knit or crochet a scarf, vest, tote bag or purse and learn to bead and embroider designs on the finished project. Bring your own clothes to paint! The Shepherdstown Elementary Day Camp offers weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 8:00am-4:00pm.Full payment is due at time of registration. Parent or guardian MUST complete a camp registration form as well a health form for each child they are registering. STATE LICENSING DISCLAIMER: Due to state law regulations we are required to limit the number of days a child is allowed to attend summer day camps, or any camp lasting more than 6 hours. Children may only attend these camps for 30 days during the summer (consecutive or non-consecutive). Television writer and iO West instructor Ed Lee will discuss how television episodes - including pilots - are structured, and how you can apply it to your writing so your television scripts can have the best possible impact on your audience. Ed Lee has written for several TV shows including Norm, "The Drew Carey Show, Class of 3000, and "Are You There, Chelsea?", and has worked in punch-up rooms for many sitcom pilots. For over 20 years, the Chicago White Sox have brought quality baseball instruction to children throughout Chicagoland! If you want to be the best, youve got to train with the best! The Little Sluggers (Ages 5-6) is designed to introduce your child to the game of baseball. Our intermediate camp (Ages 7-8) includes fundamental skill-building activities, like throwing, hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and base running. The Advanced camp (Ages 9-11) builds upon the basics and incorporates team play, advanced base running and other techniques that could be used on the field. On the final day, all players will get the opportunity to judge their improvement by playing a game. Each participant will receive an EXCLUSIVE U.S. CELLULAR FIELD EXPERIENCE, plus six White Sox ticket vouchers, academy hat, t-shirt, evaluation report and graduation certificate.
