The Kids Kab Organization will host a co-ed slow pitch tournament on October 1. Teams must have at least two women on the field at any time. Entry is $150.00. Procceds to benefit Kids Kab Programming and a portion to benefit Breast Cancer research and awareness.

Enlist in the splish splash mission to get a taste of kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and surfing practice safely in the harbor. Venture into the tidal splash zones to see what types of animals thrive in this harsh environment and use magnifying glasses to get closer looks of the adaptations these animals use for survival. 860-535-9362

Join Smart with Art as we discover sea-life creatures and explore the ocean with clay! We will create a bookend influenced by Edward Hoppers art, including a relief lighthouse design. We will work with glass pieces and clay, as we create a slab box based on Hokusais The Great Wave painting. We will learn about creating coils in clay as we design a tile with a sea creature of our choice. Exploring pinch pots techniques, students will design a bigmouth fish creation. We will also dive into a multi-medium work of art that combines an acrylic painting and a clay under the sea work of art. Join us as we explore the sea and set sail in clay with Smart with Art. For Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 years old 9AM-4:00PM 1 FULL DAY TUESDAY FEB 16 ONLY This program offers children a chance to participate in many different sports such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey, volleyball, and other physical education type activities. The Elephants Child - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
Children the whole world round have delighted to the telling and re-telling of Rudyard Kiplings beloved story of how the Elephants child got his trunk. This charming musical adaptation perserves much of Kiplings clever text with its fascinating word rhythms and oral imagery, while five original songs capture the mystery and humor of Elephants childs exciting adventure down the "Great Grey-Green Greasy limpopo River". Costumes, dance, and wonderful dialogue mixed with the these great songs will give our youngest actors a spectacular time creating a mini-musical for family and friends while learning how to work as a team.
